Junior Women’s Finals
Kaitlyn Lawes-Pembina CC. defeated Alyssa Vandepoele- St. Anne CC. 8-5 to win the 2009 Junior Women’s Provincial Championship.
Team Lawes is made up of Skip-Kaitlyn, Third-Jenna Loder, Second-Laryssa Grenkow, Lead-Breanne Meakin, and Coach-Rob Meakin.
Team Lawes made it to the finals by beating Sabrina Neufeld-La Salle CC. 6-3 In the semi-final.
Team Lawes will represent Manitoba at the 2009 M & M Junior Men’s and Women’s Canadian National Championships, January 31- February 8 in Salmon Arm, B.C.
