The second draw of the day saw a tightly contested battle between Tina Kozak-Brandon CC and Karen Porritt-Fort Rouge with Porritt coming out on top 9-7 in ten ends. After being down 9-5 in the seventh, Kozak battled back with two in the ninth only to fall short in the tenth.
