— Jeff Stoughton, with Brandon’s Rob Fowler at second, joins Brandon’s Allan Lyburn at the $27,000 Interlake Pharmacy Classic in Stonewall. Play opens Friday and concludes with Monday’s final.
ENTRY DEADLINE
— The Brandon Men’s Berth Bonspiel, which offers a spot in the 2009 Safeway Championship in Selkirk, will accept entries until Dec. 2. Teams not eligible for a berth are also welcome to compete, as the men’s championship berth will go to the highest placing eligible team. Entry fees are $320 per team. Contact Gary Poole at 729-1097 for details. Women’s teams looking for a berth into the 2009 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Neepawa must enter their names and pay fees by Nov. 27.
